on the go playlists

I found these lying around from last summer. i really liked these photos and wanted to post them. I had some great times hanging outside of that apartment on the lower east side, but i'm happy that i moved. The neighborhood isn't getting so terrible. i think we were drinking rum that night

not many places in new york you can take a lady out to dinner and have the total cost under 5 bucks.

you've got to move

rode bikes to mike's new apartment last night. I love the place. had a few beers and listened to some great records. My favorite was this old calypso record from the 40's and 50's. doodle the cat is finally coming to life after moving.

travel

with so many cars and cheap airfair these days, everyone seems to forget about the classic ways to travel america. after spending a good ammount of time the past week travelling by bus and boat, i've realized that it's pretty much a lost form of transportation for most modern people. getting your ticket at the depot, listening to strangers stories, and seeing the world out of your ground level window are just a few of the things i really enjoyed. That said, i still will try to avoid the chinatown bus at all costs.

happy mondays at schiller's

lauren came back to new york with us. it was the worst ride of my life, and when i got back to new york the weather was terrible.

oh, fuck it

we spent the week in nantucket
