we had just played making time in philly with simian mobile disco. we drove back to new york in the early morning. coming over the verrazano bridge, we could see staten island, new jersey, brooklyn, long island and manhattan.with the sun just coming up over the horizon it was so beautiful. all of a sudden "walk on the wild side" came on the radio and no one said a word.

these photos were taken after we played the luna lounge in brooklyn. sully in bobby were in town. we played darts and drank yeungling beer until we passed out. i woke up to take a piss and bobby was passed out in my bathroom wedged between the tub and the wall.

on 4 hours sleep in 48 hours we left new york city and headed north; first to boston and then to the cape. we got to bed around 5am early saturday morning and were up by 7. with red eyes and solid headaches we hit the bottle around 8:30. hoping that we'd pass out for the ride. once in boston sully, bobby and i took off for the cape though on all of the backroads. We got to the beach around 4 o'clock, just in time for low tide. there was a great sunset that night, and we cooked fresh cod on the grill.
