IT'S ALWAYS GRAY IN NEW YORK

went to moto late last night, and the people playing were a bit annoying. it turned from hard bop style jazz to a pile of dog shit in seconds. i had a nice guinness from the draft and some good cheese. today i ate lunch with miss diamond at pastis. the food, as always, was excellent, but couldn't believe how busy they were for lunch. It must be tourist season again. we had the good fortune of having a private showing of the entire collection at the gagosion gallery on 24th st. my favorite piece was by damien hirst. it was a large circular piece that looked like a spin painting with a hidden skull in the middle.i also liked one warhols "abstract" pieces that was a brightly colored camouflage screenprint. in general, the collection was excellent, and it was quite a privilege to be able to see pieces that no one else gets to see from such a great gallery. walked around chelsea for a while. now i feel so hazy after just waking up from an early evening nap. it looks like it might rain.

please yoko,do not sing luck of the irish anymore.

every time i hear her sing that song i want to curl up and die inside of a prehistoric tree. that shrill! so terrible. i feel like the irish have been cursed even more, since she sang that song. to all who agree with me happy saint patricks day. i was just bumming around today sat in this park for a minute and talked on the orange telephone.

eastern promises

last night i watched eastern promises with becka and michael.i thought this movie was very interesting. i really enjoy david cronenberg's style of directing. the first two scenes were very brutal and grotesque, but not everything in life and film needs to be sugar coated. afterwards i took these photos of becka.
