sultans of sentiment

on saturday michael and i took a trip back home to massachusetts. took a late night bus down empty new england travelling roads and talked about everything we possibly could throughout the four hour trip. so many memories, fond and not so fond, were brought back to me. There is something so peaceful about being there for me. Everything seems so familiar but at the same time i feel detatched, and it was the first time i've felt like that. we arrived in bridgewater, a sleepy little colonial town around 1 am, and proceded down to the outskirts of town towards middleborough. The moon was huge and it hung over the county prison weightlessly. I tried to take a photo but was such a subdued hue of orange that it didn't come out. The next morning i woke up around 5 am to the sound of tim leaving to go fishing. I went back to sleep and woke up again around 9 am. took a shower and got ready to go to a brunch for my grandmothers 90th birthday. it was great to be home.
